who we are

Memories from Cambodia… A taste of hope for the future

Cambodia is known as a producer of rice, but many visitors do not realize that the country’s fertile lands also yield a myriad of food crops including cashew nuts, palm sugar, sesame seeds, pepper and other spices.

Founded in 2006 by a group of Cambodian and international friends, Camory brings a local twist to cookies. 

what we do

We infuse local agricultural products such as cashew nuts, sesame seeds and local spices into our cookies. By doing so, we hope to introduce visitors to Cambodia's agricultural produce and their untapped potential as ingredients in quality products. We source most of our ingredients from Cambodia, doing our part in supporting sustainable agricultural development.  

We also provide employment opportunities for the disadvantaged. We work with local NGOs to identify needy individuals and provide them with a living wage, reasonable working hours and a safe and enjoyable working environment. In fact, many of our recipes are developed in-house by our team of creative bakers which includes former street children and women from poor families. By involving them in the process of recipe creation, our bakers are given the chance to share what they feel is an authentically Cambodian taste that visitors will enjoy. 

In addition, a portion of the profits from the sale of our cookies funds the education of former street children at the New Cambodian Children's Life Association.
